About PTMac

PTMac is an easy to use front end for creating panoramas using the powerful Panorama Tools (PanoTools) package. PTMac takes the user through the panorama creation process one step at a time with a friendly interface. PTMac is available for Mac OS X and OS 8.6 to 9.x.

PTMac allows you to:

• create panoramas in most of the popular formats including equirectangular, cylindrical, Apple's cubic QTVR and more.
• create panoramas editable in photo editing programs such as Photoshop and MacGimp.
• save custom lens and panorama stitching settings for use on future panoramas.
• create cubic Quicktime panoramas for total user immersion.

About Panorama Tools
Panorama Tools is a powerful and versatile set of tools written by Helmut Dersch for the creation of panoramic images. Panorama Tools uses higher precision image manipulation functions than is available in most nearly all commercial panorama stitching programs resulting in the most accurate stitches available. It can handle most every input image type and outputs to most popular formats and projections. While Panorama Tools is versatile, it can be difficult to learn. PTMac simplifies the use of Panorama Tools with an easy to learn user interface.
